Synopsis
A mysterious hole opens up near an the old Eureka Motel and you go to inspect it. The world evolves into something strange the more you explore the world connected to the hole and the motel. The story has three endings depending on choice. Lacunas Gate is a game best enjoyed with a slow exploration. Will you enter the world of half-dreams?

About the studio
Mokxes.studio was formed in late 2024 by koilwood and fauux brought together by a shared passion for visual storytelling. While we're relatively new to game development, we've been experimenting with smaller projects for over 10 years. This is our first major project—hopefully the first of many.
Though we don’t have a formal background in coding or game development, between us we bring extensive experience in writing, music, illustration and painting, photography, 3D modeling, web design, and art installations.
Mature Content
The secrets of eternal voids, death and darkness connect to Lacuna's Gate. You drive out to the desert motel and a new world opens up from the deep. Themes include: Repressed Memories, Death, Purgatory & The After-Life.
